This piece began as an instinct- a daisy not as it is expected to be, but as it wanted to be. Guided by nature and intuition rather than reference, I let colour, form, and texture lead the way.

The petals are painted in untraditional hues with deliberate, expressive brushstrokes, while the center is adorned with glass beads that catch the light and create a three-dimensional presence. Even the back is textured, a reminder that art and life exists beyond a single perspective.

This daisy is unapologetic. It’s bold, layered, and alive. It is a celebration of growth, individuality, and beauty without constraint. It serves as a reminder that creativity, like nature, cannot be contained or defined by rules.
