Now taking orders for the July release!
This painting is a reminder that colour doesn’t have to match mood.
The blue donkey casually leans against a tree, awkward, relaxed, and entirely content flashy a cheeky grin. Flowers bloom nearby. Nothing here is trying to make a point, and that’s exactly the point.
I painted this piece as an invitation to loosen your grip on seriousness. It celebrates small joy, imperfect posture, and the freedom of letting yourself be exactly as you are- unbothered and quietly amused.
Part of the Untamed Joy series, this work honours humour as a form of honesty, and happiness that doesn’t need a reason.
