This sunflower unlike the others.

Painted in bold blues rather than expected golds, it stands as the outlier, the one that didn’t match, didn’t blend, didn’t soften itself to belong. And yet, it blooms anyway making it even more unique.

Sunflowers are symbols of certainty and cheer. This one carries something deeper. It speaks to those who have grown sideways, chosen differently, or learned to shine without approval. 

The saturated blue palette transforms the familiar into something singular. This piece serves as a reminder that beauty isn’t diminished by difference, and that uniqueness is not a flaw but a frequency. This piece doesn’t ask to be compared. It exists on its own terms.

Originally painted in acrylic on a 36" x 36" canvas, this piece is part of the Blossoming floral series- and one of the artist's personal favourites.
