Now taking orders for the July release!
I painted this winter sky while thinking about how boldness doesn’t always need volume. The northern lights move through the night in softened pinks and cool blues, glowing without urgency, holding their own against the cold.
There’s stillness here, but it’s also electric. The colour feels calm at first, then powerful, like light that knows exactly where it belongs as it dances in the sky. I wanted the contrast to feel balanced rather than dramatic, allowing the glow to speak for itself.
This piece is about strength that doesn’t announce itself, and about moments when the world feels both expansive and intimate at once. It feels bold enough to be seen, calm enough to stay. Magestic.
