I painted this piece while thinking about how music lives beyond hearing. For me, sound has always carried colour, movement, and weight. It is something felt in the body before it’s understood by the mind.

Here the instrument doesn't rest, it floats. I wanted it to feel suspended in motion, as though the music has just been played and is still moving through the air. The layered colours follow rhythm rather than melody, allowing feeling to inspire the viewer. Oil accents add subtle details and depth.

This work isn’t about a specific song or genre. It’s about resonance and the way music lingers, the way it elevates, and how it continues to move us even after the rhythm has stopped.
