This original abstract emerged through layers of intuition, technical restraint, and a willingness to let the unexpected lead. Built through multiple stages of acrylic application, expressive mark-making, dry brushing, textural scraping, and deliberate colour interruption, and finishing with a subltle, yet vibrant oil glaze, this work balances spontaneity with control in a way that cannot be replicated. Subtle 3-D elements were added to enhance visual intererst and add dimension.

Each layer was allowed to speak before the next was introduced. Some marks were amplified. Others intentionally buried, leaving behind only whispers of what came before. Circular movements create a sense of rhythm and return, while bold contrasts and luminous passages draw the eye deeper into the composition with every viewing.

What may first appear energetic gradually reveals itself as highly intentional—an intricate dialogue between movement, memory, colour, and space.

This is not a piece that gives everything away at once.

It rewards the collector who enjoys living with art… the kind that continues to unfold, shift, and reveal itself over time.
